TAPPAN, New York- Fr Joseph Ravi Narisetty was aggregated as a full member of the New York Oratory of St Philip Neri.
Aggregation, according to the Constitutions of the Confederation of the Oratory of St. Philip Neri can only be granted after triennium, a three-year period of formation that begins after initial admission to the Congregation. This time period includes the member's first and second probation, lasting one and two years respectively. His aggregation signifies that Fr. Joseph has given a good account of himself in the life of the community and has the intention of remaining forever (Constitutions No. 68).
In a modest ceremony led by the Provost Fr Vladimir Chripko, evening prayers were said before the call and presentation of the candidate to be aggregated. After the provost received him as a full member, Father George Torok, founder, and provost emeritus said the prayer of blessing. An agape followed this moment to crown the full celebration.
Congratulations Father Joseph and may you keep smiling and serving the people of God with faith and enthusiasm!
