The member of the New York Oratory in their ongoing formation program welcomed Chris Mahoney, director and owner of The Mahoney Group for a training in financial asset management. The afternoon program consisted of Chris presentation with one of the Mahoney staff. After a clear presentation on how to think a better way on our retirement plan, few questions were asked.
This follows more concern that any person should worry about, our life after we retire. How do we plan for it, how to we prepare ourselves to cover the various expenses that will be related with our old age?
In response to that, Father GeorgeTorok, the Emeritus provost who is experiencing the retirement, reminded all that it is very important to think about while we are still active. For him thinking about means to realize foster for the key element that will be meaningful during that period of old age:
the bound of love that we have and should keep having for one another. “We live together and will die together” he insisted, to highlight that importance of taking care of one another even if one could have saved and planned for his retirement.
We thank Chris Mahoney and his team for this insight and keep praying God that love prevails in all.
